Adult Mission Trip (Juarez, Mexico)
This week ten members of our church family will travel to Mexico to make a difference for families living in the poverty-stricken areas of the greater Juarez, Mexico area. Families with little to nothing often live in make-shift shelters built with cardboard and scraps found in the area landfill. Children go without shelter or safety. Poverty affects every corner of life. Working with Ysleta Lutheran Mission, our Mission team will once again be building a simple home for a family. Often this new home means it is the fist time that a famly remains dry when it rains, or the first time a child feels safe... and so much more! Serving with the mercy of Christ, these ten people will depart March 1 and return March 8: Christopher Fazardo, Erika Fazardo, Robin Forbes, Joyce Goodvin, Matthew Marchus, Margie Marshall, Bonnie Rennich, Ryan Schaan, Nathan Steen, and Rachel Wee. During this upcoming week remember them in your prayers and ask that God himself will bring continued blessing through the work they will do. For more information on the family receiving this home, please see the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall!
