Please join us on Wednesday nights at Our Savior Lutheran Church!!! We offer OSKids Children's Ministry, Confirmation Class, Senior Youth Group, and Adult Choir Rehearsal throughout the school year. Learn more about each opportunity below. OSKids Children's Ministry (Age 4-Grade 5).... Wednesday nights from 6-7pm, kids ages 4 to Grade 5 are invited to join us for an evening packed with fun activities centered around the Gospel. Kids will be immersed in the Gospel through the stories from Genesis to Revelation. We want kids to know the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story of redemption through Jesus Christ! Kids are signed in by an adult at registration in the Great Room and then start their Wednesday night in singing some praise songs, and occasionally a special message. Afterwards we watch a short video on the Bible story as it connects with Jesus and do a craft based on the lesson. And then have a discussion about it and enjoy games, play, and service. The mission of confirmation is to provide the youth of OSLC with a meaningful Christian education experience, touching their hearts with the person of Jesus Christ. OSLC Confirmation Ministries provide dynamic instruction in the Christian faith for youth, grades 6-8. Class time (Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00p September-May), servant event opportunities, and small group experiences lead toward the rite of confirmation and adult membership in the OSLC church family. Senior Youth Group (Grades 9-12)... Senior Youth Group is open for youth in grades 9 through 12. We have weekly hang outs on Wednesday nights from 6-8pm. We use this time to catch up and to tackle tough questions about life and faith. The time together will start with a devotion and end with fellowship and games. We would love to see some new faces and hear some new voices! The Bible tells us in Psalm 32:11 to “Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; Sing, all you who are upright in heart!” Talk to someone in choir and they’ll tell you that we are truly a “family” that cares for one another, prays, laughs, sings and loves to praise the Lord!
